Customer First Award

On February 5, 2009, CMC honored two employees with the first annual Customer First Award. The criteria that were considered during the selection process were:

  • Going above and beyond what is accepted to excel on behalf of our customers
  • Displaying an ability to listen to an issue and gather significant resources to resolve an issue
  • Ability and willingness to help change CMC processes and systems to benefit our customers
  • Willingness to accept challenges in new work and/or difficult assignments

The employees who received this award were Cindy Nagy, Manufacturing Coordinator; and Ed Lawther, Fabricating Estimator. Both Cindy and Ed have continuously demonstrated their commitment to making sure the customer comes first. Their dedication to ensuring that our customers are fully satisfied shows their commitment to both CMC and to our customer base.

Three additional employees received honorable mention for their dedication to our customers. The honorable mention recipients were Tina Farley, Processor; Gabe Robb, Project Manager; and Mike Ashbaugh, Production Supervisor.

It is apparent that employees at all levels of the company are dedicated to satisfying our customers’ needs. We look forward to continuing with this award in order to recognize those who go above and beyond to meet the needs of our customers. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
