Dennis S. Meteny - President and CEO
Dennis S. Meteny is President and CEO of Cygnus Manufacturing Company LLC. Mr. Meteny is a former Executive in Residence with The Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse and a former President and Board Member of TissueInformatics Inc., a privately-held life sciences company in the medical imaging sector.
He also spent fifteen years with Respironics Inc., (NASD; RESP) a leading global developer, manufacturer and marketer of sleep and respiratory products, where he served as President and CEO from 1994 to 1999 and was a member of its Board of Directors from 1988 to 1999. Dennis started his career with Ernst & Young, working in their Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh offices. Mr. Meteny holds an accounting degree from The Pennsylvania State University (BS, 1975) and an MBA from the University Of Pittsburgh Katz School Of Business (1986).
Jodi Ricketts - Vice President, Sales
Ms. Ricketts joined CMC as Regional Sales Manager in 1998. From 1995 to 1997, she served as an outside sales representative for Dyna-Tech Adhesives where she was ranked in the top 10% of the nationwide sales force. From 1989 through 1995, Ms. Ricketts was a sales representative for Magnetek, an industrial manufacturing firm. Ms. Ricketts received her degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990.
Jim Hoffman - Director of Manufacturing Systems
Jim Hoffman is the Director of Manufacturing Systems for Cygnus Manufacturing Company LLC. Previously, Mr. Hoffman worked for Chick Workholding Solutions, a manufacturer of CNC workholding from 2003 to 2006. Jim first started with Cygnus in 1994, holding various positions within the organization. Mr. Hoffman began his career with Superbolt, a manufacturer of patented Multi-Jackbolt tensioners for the Military, Petrochemical, and Mining Industry. Jim is a certified Journeyman Machinist with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Judy A. Styslinger - Sales Support
Judy A. Styslinger joined CMC in 2002 and is responsible for Inside Sales and Sales Support. Ms. Styslinger has an extensive background in Sales and Customer Service and was previously with Contraves Inc., where she was appointed Manager of the Repair and Service Department.
Rich Couchenour - Director of Information Technology
Rich Couchenour is the Director of Information Technology and Special Projects for Cygnus Manufacturing Company. Mr Couchenour has 20 years of experience making effective use of advanced technologies across multiple industries. Rich has varied experience leading project teams from small internal teams up to large teams that require the coordination of multiple external partners along side internal associates. Rich has been engaged as an employee or a consultant with such companies as Versatile Systems, Respironics, Digital Equipment Company, H.J Heinz, and 84 Lumber Company.
